Last Sunday was not my lucky day.
I smashed my finger when the poolside beds we were carrying slipped and hit my hand. In just a second I saw blood dripping on my middle finger, my nail turned black and pain sets in.....Ouch!
Afraid of what will happened to my finger, i seek medical attention to our Public Safety Officer assigned on that day.
In case this happen to you also.. I will share what the Officer told me:
How To Treat Smashed Finger
1. Assess the finger to determine the damage.
2. Clean the finger with running water and apply ice pack to reduce swelling.
3. If the finger will not move or bend, see a doctor.
4. Take pain reliever to remove pain.
5. Dont cry, nail will grow again after two months. LOL
